Amesbury's Pow Wow Riverwalk Rail Trail
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Pow Wow Riverwalk in Amesbury, MA, is a paved 1.3 mile trail that will accommodate wheelchairs, in-line skates and  handicap scooters.
It begins at the Carriagetown Marketplace  (Stop & Shop) on Route 11o.
It runs all the way to downtown ending at the parking garage on Water Street.
The trail head is right behind Acapulco's Mexican Restaurant  (park between the restaurant and McDonalds).
Newburyport's Clipper City Rail Trail
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The Clipper City Rail Trail was completed in 2010, and is a 1.1 mile multi-use pathway running between the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) commuter rail station and the shoreline of the Merrimack River near downtown Newburyport.

The trail corridor ranges from about 40 to 80 feet wide, and the multi-use asphalt pathway is 10 feet wide for walkers, bicyclists, and other non-motorized users.

A good place to park is Cashman Park on Merrimack Street.  A boardwalk along the Merrimack River connects to the rail trail.

Sailsbury's Eastern Marsh Trail & Ghost Trail
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sailsbury has 2 trails at this time, and they are a good example of
2 different types of trails.
 Salisbury Point Ghost Trail.
It is hard packed gravel and mostly built with donated time, material & equipment.
The project also included a new parking area at the Rabbit Road trailhead.
The trail stretches 1.7 miles from Lion's Park to Rabbit Road with
crossings at Cushing Street and Bartlett Street. It offers a beautiful walk
through the woods in Salisbury and connects residential neighborhoods
   to Lion's Park and its ball fields as well as to Salisbury Square.
Old Easterm Marsh Trail
A 1.4-mile section of Salisbury's Old Eastern Marsh Trail was completed in May 2010.  The paved trail stretches from the Merrimack River to Mudnock Road and features beautiful views across the Great Marsh and the Merrimack River and also showcases abundant wildlife.
This is the first link in Salisbury's north-south rail trail that will ultimately extend to the New Hampshire border and connect residential areas with the town's parks and elementary school.
The trailhead is a parking area on Friedenfels Road next to the Merrimack River.
